Yesterday (3-1, +2.0 Units).
Season-To-Date (3-1, +2.0 Units).

Making an large play on the first game this afternoon (Kickoff 4:00pm). There may be more plays on the later games, but for now I'm focusing on this one that I have a very good feel for.

DC United vs New York Red Bulls
=========================

DC United Projected Lineup

GK -- Troy Perkins (C)
DEF -- Facundo Erpen (C-)
DEF -- Bobby Boswell (C+)
DEF -- Brandon Prideaux (B-)
MID -- Justin Moose (D)
MID -- Ben Olsen (B+)
MID -- Brian Carroll (B-)
MID -- Joshua Gros (B)
M/F -- Freddie Adu (B)
FWD -- Jaime Moreno (A-)
FWD -- Lucio Filomeno (C+)

NY Red Bulls Lineup

GK -- Tony Meola (B-)
DEF -- Carlos Mendes (D+)
DEF -- Taylor Graham (D+)
DEF -- Jeff Parke (C-)
DEF -- Marvell Wynne (C-)
MID -- Seth Stammler (D)
MID -- Danny O'Rourke (C-)
MID -- Chris Henderson (B-)
M/F -- Amado Guevara (B)
FWD -- Youri Djorkaeff (B)
FWD -- Mike Magee (B)

New York has so much inexperience in the back. Wynne may be a great player someday, but this will be his first MLS match. Mendes, Graham, and Stammler have very limited MLS experience. They have some talent up top in Djorkaeff and Magee, but if they can't keep the middle together I don't see how they survive this game. New players Henderson and O'Rourke likely will not have gelled with the other inexperienced players this early into the same

DC United, although somewhat young, are VERY experienced squad and most of them have been playing together for a very long time. Adu keeps getting better every game and is primed for a breakout year that will live up to his hype when he entered the league at age 15. Olsen, Gros, Carroll give DC United pure dominance over the midfield in this match. They also have two very capable players that will come off the bench, MID Santion Quaranta (B+) and FWD Alecko Eskandarian (B-), and will provide a spark if they need so.

Very large play here. I love DC in their home opener

3.09 Units To Win 3 Units. DC United -1/2 -103 over New York

Bad news and good news.. DC Dominated the first 15 minutes, and the first time NY even got any kind of possession on the attacking end, they get fouled, score on a free kick 0-1.

Early yet though and D.C. looks good.

I didn't play this match b/c C.Gomez (solid striker) for United is out, so I didn't like their scoring chances, being down 2-0 I think the best United can do is a 2-2 draw. Watching the game, it looks like DC's defense is very weak, that Wynn guys for the Red Bull has played solid D on the other hand. New York may be a team to play as the season goes on, seems they have some talent.

Freddy Adu terrorizing Red Bulls all day.. He must have been fouled about 6-8 times.

Meola with a save off Quaranta! 83rd minute... Very tense for me.

Sorry guys 2-2 FT :(.. We deserved better honestly. Two terrible donkey mistakes by DC's Goalkeeper crushed us.
